Ask The Designer…

Are You A Good Customer?

Ask1-01

When it comes to hiring a graphic designer, customers aren’t exactly always right.

Being a good client means first, you are good for the money. Expect to pay as much as 50% in deposit before the work begins. Good designer’s do not work for free.

Second, be sure to give a clear briefing of your needs. There’s nothing worse than spending hours on a design to find out it wasn’t briefed correctly at the beginning. Starting over adds to the deadline and likely to the bottom line, as well.

Finally, be honest about the design. Being kind is nice, but we designers are professionals and can handle the criticism. You will also better appreciate the final result.
